Because of several recent incidents involving the use of forced screenshots in our servers, the following rules have been adopted. The Generals believe that this is a fair system based upon trust. These rules are necessary in order to insure fair and just treatment of 65th members, as well as players visiting our servers.
Forced screenshots are a tool to be used only to try to determine if a player is cheating and only after other methods have failed. The Generals view forced screenshots to be equivalent to a public accusation of cheating. All members of this clan must remember that it is the responsibility of the 65th to prove that a suspect player is guilty before the suspect player is sanctioned (kicked/banned). It is not the responsibility of anyone to prove his own innocence.
Rules regarding non 65th players--
1. Forced screenshots may be used to determine the guilt or innocence of suspicious players only when specing them is inconclusive and the level of suspicion justifies further investigation.
2. Players will not be kicked or banned from a server until there is definitive proof of cheating, or unless they are causing a disturbance and have ignored warnings to stop.
3. Players that are screenshotted will be given 24 hours to submit the screenshots before they are sanctioned.
4. When a player is screenshotted, the details of the incident, including the player's IP, will be sent to the officer in charge of reviewing the screenshots, so that he knows to look for the screenshots arrival and can determine in a timely manner if the player is actually cheating.
5. Players found to be cheating will be banned immediately and without notice by the reviewing officer. The reviewing officer will then post in our forums the name and IP of the banned player, as well as the reason for the ban.
6. Players who do not send the required screenshots within 24 hours will be banned until the screenshots are received and reviewed.
Rules regarding 65th members--
1. Forced screenshots of any 65th member will be done only with the approval of two Generals as a part of an investigation into credible reports of cheating by the suspect member.
2. No 65th member will be immune from investigation, including forced screenshots, when there are credible reports of him cheating.
3. The credibility of reports of cheating must be judged by examining their source. Skilled, honest players that are known to us are much more credible than those unknown to us, or those who have a history of problems with the 65th or its members.
4. Random forced screenshots of 65th members, or guests in our servers, are strictly forbidden. 5. Admins who abuse the use of forced screenshots will be relieved of their admin status.
