Technically I think college is considered where they give 2 year degrees and universities are 4 year degrees and higher. BTW, I didn't go to college...lol (but I do recommend it).
Give me a nade and a firm place from which to toss it and I shall frag the world.

Normally, a University is made up of several different "Colleges".
They make careers out of dulling their senses and then wonder why they're unaware.

I got a long life ahead of me, but I was just wondering...

Can I get a degree for something in Canada and take a job in the United States? Or would I have to get another degree but in the US instead?

Usualy you can. It still depends on the profession : for example an Engineer that graduate in let's say Ontario, has a stamp for the Order of the Engineers of Ontario, when he wants to work in the US for a US company ( not being in the US for a Canadian com.) means that he'll have to get the approval of the US order of Engineers to get his stamp in order to stamp blueprints, and stuff Engineers stamp.
But in general it is very easy to get accepted with your Canadian degree, yet remember the little thing called a Green Card.
